The country is still mourning the sudden demise of Charles Bukeko alias Papa Shirandula after he passed away following a short illness at Karen hospital.

Bukeko had tested positive for Covid-19.

Here are things you did not know about him.

  1. He a native of Buhalarire, Mumias, Kenya

2. Charles was born at Pumwani, and brought up in Limuru.

3. He was the first born among five siblings.

4. He venture into theater by accident, he had taken some friends to the theater when his interest was aroused.

5. Bukeko was married to Beatrice Ebbie Andega and they have three children: Tony, Charlie and Wendy.

6. Bukeko was diabetic

7. He was a foodie

According to his mother Valeria Wafula, at the tender age of three-four months Bukeko wanted to eat solid foods.

7. He had a deep love for script writing.

8. Charles was an ardent AFC Leopards fan and critic, his love for football was unmatched.

9. He was well known wide for appearing in adverts such as Coke, he became known as the 'Brrr man' thanks to his humor in the advert.

He was also a mentor to many and he will be greatly missed.
