Kenya sports fraternity and rugby fans are in mourning after former Kenya 7's (Shujaas) player Allan Makaka Shisiali passed away.

Makaka died on Friday night, May 22, after being involved in a grisly road accident along the Mombasa Nairobi highway.

Here are things you did not know about Makaka

  1. He studied his primary education at St. Peter's Mumias Boys Primary and Aga Khan Nairobi.
  2. He was a graduate of (USIU) United States International University.
  3. He worked as a Business Executive at Royal Media services.

He enjoyed an eight-year professional career in Sales.

Allan joined Royal Media Services on 1st February 2012 as a business executive.

He  later became the Business Manager in charge of HOT 96, a position he has served with great dedication, passion and commitment.

4.He played for Kenya rugby sevens and Shujaa.

5. He was a dedicated family man.

6. He joined boarding school in boarding school while his sister joined boarding in class one.

7. He was an international winger.

8. He was born in Kakamega.
