Hamisa Mobetto, baby mama to Diamond Platnumz, has for the first time talked about suffering three miscarriages.

This was before she welcomed her son Dylan.

Speaking during a recent interview, she said,

'IF THERE’S SOMEONE WHO WAS 100% THAT DYLAN WAS HIS KID IT WAS DIAMOND. I SUFFERED THREE MISCARRIAGES BEFORE I GAVE BIRTH TO DYLAN,’ SHE EXPLAINED.

Wondering what might have led to the miscarriages?

Below are reasons that can lead to recurrent miscarriages in women

  • A congenital anomaly of the uterus

Examples include a septate uterus, adhesions and scarring of the uterus, an incompetent cervix, fibroids, and polyps.

Women with certain medical conditions have an increased risk for recurrent miscarriages.

such conditions are Antiphospholipid syndrome, diabetes mellitus, thyroid conditions, and polycystic ovarian syndrome.

  • Chromosomal-abnormalities

Sometimes things can go wrong at the point of conception and the foetus receives too many or not enough chromosomes.

The reasons for this are often unclear, but it means the foetus will not be able to develop normally, resulting in a miscarriage.

  • Placental problems

The placenta is the organ linking the mother's blood supply to her baby's.

If there's a problem with the development of the placenta, it can also lead to a miscarriage.

Other reasons may include

  • obesity.
  • smoking.
  • Abusing drugs and alcohol while pregnant.
  • Weakened cervix.
