April holiday is here, and teenagers are more likely to get lazy and wander around the estate while doing absolutely nothing.

Most teens fail to understand that holidays are not only meant for relaxing but also, acquiring new skill aside from school work.

Through this, one will be able to avoid mischievous activities such as drug use and bad company.

Below is our compilation of fun activities that teenagers can engage in while you are on break.

1. Bake

If you have interest in baking, what better way to work on your interest that enrolling for a baking class?

The good thing is you don't have to learn how to bake in a class.

You can also become a good baker by watching youtube tutorials on how to bake different types of cakes.

This could turn out to be your side-hustle once you are done with your high school as you wait to join campus.

Your home will be filled with a delicious aroma and you’ll have a great gift to take to a holiday party or share with any house guests that stop by.

2. Exercise

Exercising is a good form of routine that might help you get through the holidays.

You can check out a work-out tutorial on youtube, that does not necessarily require you to get to the gym.

This way, you will be able to stay healthy and combat the holiday bulge by keeping up with a regular exercise regimen.

Most importantly you will look and feel better.

3. Watch a movie or series

I used to hate how I'd come home from school, and find that most of my favorite movies and series have moved to the next episodes.

I spent most of my nights catching up on my favourite series and latest films. Imagine not being able to comment on what you watched over the holidays when all your friends are talking about the hit series?

If you are a lover of a film then you will agree with me that watching movies is a good form of relaxation and spending time with your family.

If you happen to have older siblings then you can manipulate them to buying you a movie ticket so as to enjoy a theater 3D experience.

4. Volunteer

The holidays are a great time to volunteer. If you have a thing for humanity then volunteering should be your jam.

You can look up shelter homes around your area code that need help. It doesn't matter if you are being paid or not because a hand that gives is the same one that will receive more.

5. Spend quality time with family

We all love our family and no matter how annoying and stubborn most of our siblings are, you can't help but admit that you always miss them while you are away.

Utilize your holiday, by spending more time with your family. Personally, I strongly believe that family is the greatest friend you will have because your family will always have your back

One way to ensure that spend more time with your fam is by having dinner together.
