Things seem to have taken a dire turn in as far as Joe Irungu's health is concerned as his lawyers argue that he needs immediate medical attention because his gunshot wound seems infected.

Joe Irungu's lawyers have urged the court to allow their client to get medical attention immediately and the Justice Lesit has indulged them.

She directed the senior prison warden (senior prison officer representing the police) see to it that Joe Irungu received medical attention from a doctor at KNH.

Things have clearly become thick for Joe Irungu who is facing a murder charge and now has to see to his infected gunshot wound which his lawyers asserted has begun oozing pus.
