NTV's Larry Madowo has defined what journalists really go through as they cover elections. The media personality was spotted with red eyes yesterday and fans mistook it for his being 'tipsy'.

Well, according to Larry, his red eyes were caused by lack of sleep saying he only slept for three hours.

On August 8th he and colleague Smriti Vidyarthi literally got tired and sat on the studio carpet as Madowo sipped on his strungi and mandazi.

In 2010, Smiriti and Mark Masai amazed many when they slept on the carpet during a break as they covered the 2010 referendum.
