Stylish pastor-cum-motivational speaker Robert Burale is full of wisdom.

The father of one in an interview with media personality Jalang'o talked about how he was criticised and mocked after he tested positive for Covid-19.

He revealed that some of his friends wished him dead and after recovering, he cut off a lot of people from his life.

Advising Jalang'o about true frienships, Burale said,

'Like for you [Jalang'o], you're the heaviest in Kenyan right now. Some people love you for your position but they can't stand you as a person. do no mix the people who love you for your position with these who love you as a person. There are people who love you for your position. Remember those we came with to pay dowry? those are your friends. There are many who will come for the show [on Jalas TV], many have sat here not because they like you but they want the platform. if today this PLatform is taken away and a new person comes to sit in, they will forget who jalangó was,' he explained.

Pastor Burale went ahead to advise the KISS FM presenter to choose his friends wisely.

If the lights went off today you'll realise there are very few who love you as a person. in fact some of the people who say hongera you're doing well, they just want to come close to you to see your underbelly and see where they'll hit you. Maybe you're having lunch with them and you say "i'm stressed in my marriage". the next day you'll see it in the blogs then they will comment but not as them but with pseudo accounts.
