When it comes to matters of the heart who better to give advice than Kiss FM's Chito Ndlovu on relationship discussions on Mpashogram.

When interviewed by Mpasho’s Kalondu Musyimi on the weekly Mpasho-Ships, Chito broke the hearts of many by claiming that there is no such thing as finding the one as it is a Walt Disney narrative found in the books of Cinderella, Snow White and the likes.

Chito went ahead to add that an individual chooses the one but does not go about finding or waiting for the one claiming that this is the very reason why there are so many single ladies in Nairobi. “There is no such thing as the ‘one’.” emphasized the presenter.

Still on the topic of discussion on when the right time to move in with a partner is, Chito was firm to stand on his word.

For the Kiss FM presenter, the right time to make such a decision is when one is married as one is prepared financially and emotionally.

A section of fans on the page were quick to refute the claims by defending their stay with their partners from their own experiences while a good number were in total agreement.

For Chito the whole narrative of those dating moving in together before marriage is as a result of western influence from Hollywood movies in which people are quick to copy from.

The vocal presenter emphasized on honesty in a relationship as a key point when dealing with the aspect of two lovebirds moving in together.

For him, it is perfectly fine for two players or rather less serious guys to move in together as long as they make their intentions and expectations clear and it is advisable for two serious partners to also come together but the result before the action of moving in should be marriage.

Chito also advised couples not to carry the word marriage with so much weight with them picturing a scene of a gathering with a fancy event since it could also be a simple civil wedding as a cheaper and simple way of making the relationship official.

The media personality said that it is very easy for a man to know whom he wants to spend the rest of his life with. And the decision cannot be influenced by a woman.

For Chito, a woman cannot make a man be ready to settle down, “Ready is not when society says you are ready, ready is when you are ready.” Chito advised men.

One fan threw a question at the presenter on whether it is alright for a couple to move into a woman’s place than the usual tradition of moving into a man’s house.

Just like his fellow Kiss FM presenter Jalang’o, Chito viewed the situation from a traditional point of view, preferring couples to follow the traditional way of settling in a man’s place.
