Terryanne Chebet is celebrating her youngest daughter's first birthday. The former Citizen TV news anchor who welcomed baby Talaa in October last year has penned a message for her, describing how excited she was.

Feels like just the other day when I brought her home from hospital, days, weeks, months...and today she is one year old! Such a blessing to our home, Talaa has brought us so much joy and laughter! I feel blessed that God chose me to be her mama! Happy Birthday to my little one!

Terryanne went on to reveal that she was retrenched from Royal Media on the 26th October 2016, the exact date her daughter was born in 2017.

She arrived on the 26th of October. On the exact date last year I received a letter informing me of my retrenchment. Is it just a co-incidence? God does have an incredible sense of humour. I am truly and deeply thankful.
