Just a week after a woman chopped off her husband's private parts in Nyeri county, another middle-aged man chose to end his life because of the constant beatings by his wife in Eldoret. The man hang himself inside his house at Tairi Mbili on Sunday, after complaining bitterly to neighbors that he was tired of being frequently beaten by his missus.

The man lamented that he was always beaten whenever he questioned his wife about extramarital affairs. They believe this is what led him to suicide.

Eldoret West Police boss Smollets Munyanzi says they are still investigating the incident.
