First of all, I'm yet to encounter anybody who doesn't like a good quality, fresh apple cider drink. That crisp drink with a refreshing taste.

It's been quite hot in Nairobi lately and the perfect time for this recipe. A very nice dry white wine, combine that with the apple cider, some ginger brandy, a little club soda and some fresh fruit to make for a wonderful sangria!

Now, this is actually very easy to make. Don't be surprised if you become a celebrated crowd-pleaser. You and your guests will LOVE this (...and yes, you can pay me later)

Let's get in to it fam!

Ingredients

Single bottle of dry white wine

1½ cups fresh apple cider (Tusker Premium Cider works well)

1 cup of club soda

½ cup of ginger brandy

2 apples, cored and roughly chopped

2 pears, cored and roughly chopped

How to make

Put together all ingredients in to a tall pitcher and stir them with a spoon (preferably wooden).

Place in to a refrigerator for about an hour or more (even up to overnight) before serving the drink.

Serve in a large wine glass over some ice-cubes and adding fruit from the pitcher into each glass.
