Lucas Mkenda, popularly known as Mr Nice, is slowly sinking into oblivion. The once East African superstar is nowhere to be heard and seen. Youngsters like Diamond Platnumz, Harmonize, Raymond and the likes of Yamoto Band have taken the limelight away from him. Could it be that he has run out of ideas and has decided to give the youngsters a chance to shine?

Well, Mr Nice seems to be struggling to make a comeback. Recently, he was in Kenya to promote his comeback album, Kioo, in a bid to revive his music career. But during his stay in the country, all did not go well. The Kidali Po hitmaker was robbed at gunpoint and valuables worth Sh1.5 million were stolen from him.

Rumour going round is that Mr Nice is  HIV positive. People on social media claim that his health has deteriorated and that chances of him being positive are high, but the Tanzanian singer has come out to rubbish these claims.

“Do I look like I am HIV positive, or dying for that matter? Truth is, I am fit as a fiddle healthwise, contrary to recent reports insinuating that I could be living positively. I do not deny having been admitted in hospital sometime last year for about three months, owing to the fact that I was poisoned during the campaign season, and to date, I have no idea who would want to finish me. Nevertheless, I owe my life to God,”

he revealed in a recent interview with SDE.
