Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday send his condolences to the family of Anthony Kariuki, who was one of his staff members.

Ruto described Kariuki as a person who was sharp, dependable, industrious, committed and creative with a positive attitude.

Kariuki was sharp, dependable, industrious, committed and creative with positive attitude.

He added that the staff will miss Kariuki's punctuality, team spirit and his orientation to detail.

We will miss his hunger and stamina for knowledge, punctuality, team spirit and orientation to detail.

Take comfort in knowing that Kariuki is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Rest In Peace.

Kariuki worked for Nation Media Group as a digital editor before he joined DP Ruto as a social media director.

Kariuki died after he was hit by a motorist in Eastlands.
