Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore's body is being cremated today at Kariokor cemetery.

He is to be cremated using electric cremation to quicken the process.

Bob as he was known by many was a man of means but he lived a quiet and simple life and it is evident at the cemetery due to the handful people present.

Speaking about his illness in the past Bob had confessed to Jeff Koinange that the doctors told him he did not have long to live.
