Mercy Masika is a blessed soul. Evidence of that is in the music she belts out. They are not only hits but also bless each and every person who listens to her music. Her hit song Mwema elevated her to the limelight and cemented her position as the lead female gospel artiste in East Africa.

Early this year, Mercy escaped with minor injuries after a freak accident. Mercy was in the car, her hubby was driving, when another car rammed them from behind. They were on the Thika Super Highway when the accident happened. She was rushed to Aga Khan hospital. Mercy was later discharged after receiving treatment for a sprained ankle. In one of her Instagram posts, Mercy wrote,

"God is a healer of hearts and a restorer of dreams! Every dead and dry thing in your life is subject to God's power. Believe in His unconditional love!!"

The mother of two who is married to David Muguro - who also doubles up as Mercy’s manager is back with another sure hit. The gospel music songstress is now back with a new song, Mkono Wa Bwana. Shot and produced by Still Alive, the single is inspired by  Isaiah 49:1.The passage reads, "Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name."
