Businesses in Kenya have been badly affected due to the growing number of coronavirus cases. So far the cases are at 15 after 8 more cases were confirmed yesterday.

According to motivational speaker Sam West, here are tips for people running businesses or people pondering on how to navigate the situation.

Hold onto the little savings you have.

If you have any cash, hold on to it.

This is because, cash flow is going to be tight, so if you have any savings, keep them safe, only withdraw for use unless it’s something important.

Reduce your expenses

This is not the time to go on a shopping spree. If something is not important, it can wait till the coronavirus season is over then let it wait.

Speak to your customers

This is because they might be going through the same thing that you are going through. So when they ask for offers or discounts ask for credit, do what you can.

Be creative

If you are not the type of person that enjoys online marketing then come up with a way of ensuring that your products are still moving.

Connect with a bank or any money lender

This is to help cushion you during this time, God did not create you to fail even during this difficult period.
