American rapper icon and business mogul Shawn Carter also known by his street moniker Jay-Z will be on Mpasho Live to talk about working with a Kenya designer.

Jay Z was seen leaving Giorgio Baldi Italian Restaurant in Santa Monica rocking a Lamu Riyadha Mosque T-shirt designed by Kenyan designer Zeddie Lukoye of Blkburd Genes.

This was on Tuesday evening March 30.

Thanks to Jay Z that specific t-shirt brand is sold out.

Speaking to Mpasho Jay-Z’s reps said supporting the Kenyan brand was easy because the creativity and innovative zeal shines through in the brand.

The rep added that Jayz thinks,

“Supporting Kenyan designs is a flex. That is creativity at its best.”

The star will be talking to our very own Kalondu Musyimi later today on Mpasho Live for his April 1, big reveal.
