The Phantom 808, which was launched last week, has sparked a lot of reaction from avid matatu culture aficionados who can't stop praising the impressive piece of art.

In January, the National Transport and Safety Authority launched a crackdown on matatus with 'offensive' graffiti, noisy modified exhausts, horns and sound systems. The move was challenged by matatu owners and Kenyans who love the art.
