A rare thing happened at a village in Kiambu. A woman gave birth to triplets after 3 horrible miscarriages. Mary Muthoni and her hubby Samuel Muranga could not believe it when they went to hospital and got the incredible news. After 9 months of pregnancy, on November 15th 2015 Muthoni welcomed 3 bouncing babies at Nazareth Hospital in Kiambu, giving the couple insurmountable joy.

"When we were told that we will have triplets, I thought we were going to lose another three babies. Initially, I was too careful to get excited, as the three miscarriages were not far from my mind," Muranga told Standard Digital.

The babies by the names Mary Watai, Gladys Njeri and Monicah Wanjiru are now in the warm arms of their parents. The family lives in a single room and earns a leaving from charcoal selling, so the next thing they have in mind is how to raise the children.
