Stranger on the Bus? This Is How To Start Conversations In Style

New week, new ideas, new goals! You will certainly take the bus as you head to work or school. Some will walk - it's good for your health, but many people will find themselves boarding a public transport vehicle to connect from your home to college or the office.

During those morning trips, many different thoughts are likely to run through your mind. Like what you will say if you are very late to arrive at work? Or hoping that the exams will treat you kindly this time round.

While your journey to a different side of town keeps sort of dragging, traffic does not make it any easier. Worse, there are traffic police. They stop your bus and you all wait patiently, for eons, before the driver and police officer “negotiate”.

The best times however, are when the hawker quickly hopes onto the bus while you are waiting for it to fill up, and convinces his customers to buy different types of candy.

What you can do, is to grab some packets of Parle Biscuits, and share with your “seatmate” in the bus.  Let me tell you why such a kind gesture matters: The wise say that a stranger is a friend that you have not met before.

As you munch the biscuits, you can throw in an observation about the weather. Or talk about the traffic, or just anything in the news. That way, you have made a new friend. Or you have at least tried.

Go right ahead, because you see, the biscuits have such amazing offers, of up to 16% reduced prices!
