Nominated Member of Parliament (MP) Isaac Mwaura has come under scathing attack for posting photos of his heavily pregnant wife on social media.

Feeling elated, the first-time legislator took to social media a few days ago to announce that he and his better half - Nelius Mukami - were expecting a baby.

"God is faithful. We thank Him for the answered prayers. He is truly a great God. His word is final," he posted.

Mwaura who represents Special Interest Groups (SIGs) in the National Assembly also posted a series of photos which showed him holding her baby bump.

Although he received many congratulatory messages after sharing the news, some felt that it was wrong for the MP to parade his pregnant wife on social media the way he did.
