The heated discussion on which Kenyan tribe has the most generous men, loving husbands and even stingiest males has been on going, for ages. And anytime this debate comes up, many are left confused or rather cannot tell which tribe has the most romantic and caring men.

But, in most cases, Luhya men are always victims when it comes to such debates. Many women claim that Wafulas, Wanyonyis, Wanjalas are just good in bed but stingy. Yaani mkono birika! This stereotype has been there for so long but in this 21st Century, there is a group of men from Mulembeland who have come out to disprove this notion. And a Kenyan woman just proved this.

The woman called upon her fellow ladies to stop complaining that Luhya men are stingy and teach them how to be generous. Here is what she posted on Kilimani Mums;

"Fellow ladies, i have been reading your posts here complaining about Luhya men and their stinginess if such a word exists. I dated three Luhyas and I'm married to one. In fact, the one I am married to used to be soo stingy as per the family's beliefs.

I must admit at first I noticed he wasn't very generous. Then one day as we were talking he asked me what I hate and I just told him to his face that I hate stingy men. I had earlier had complains from his bro that pesa zake hazionangi jua.

Then he asked me if I thought he was stingy and I told him to sort it but there was still room for improvement. Am telling you this dude changed. Sometimes we need to tell them in their faces that mikono birika hapana. 

Then you teach him how to appreciate themselves as well as giving to other people by doing it yourself. I am the generous type and so is my family as well as friends. Sasa whenever my pals and family visit they would come with ma shopping mpaka the dude just learnt that giving was our lifestyle and i can comfortably say that he eventually caught that habit too.
