Self-proclaimed billionaire Steve Mbogo has expressed interest in purchasing the country's leading carrier - Kenya Airways - and he's not mincing his words.

Commenting on an Instagram post where city socialite Vera Sidika was bashing the airline for awful service, Mbogo said he had suffered the same fate more than 10 times.

As such, the flamboyant businessman said he was ready to part with some of his money to buy the company just to them "how to run an airline."

This is what he wrote.

Earlier in the day, Vera Sidika put up a post recounting her bad experiences while using the Kenya Airways.

She said that try as she might, it was hard to be patriotic because the carrier 'mistreats' its customers.
