Steve Mbogo has been in the eye of a public storm after he was seen at the Dusit Hotel heavily armed. Many wondered why the politician was even in the vicinity?

He added about Sakaja:

His main topic is Steve Mbogo, where was he when this ordeal was happening? Even if they didn't come with guns, I saw poor people going and buying water for the police, bringing bottles of soda, packets of milk. Where were they(detractors) at the time?

He also went on to explain his experience at Westgate saying:
