Yesterday, the Jumia Kenya Glamour Awards went down at the Boma Hotel in Nairobi. It was an amazing event that saw a heavy attendance, despite the fact that it was the inaugural event. The awards notably had many sub-categories, probably since the coverage spans across different industries; arts, entertainment and fashion.

The awards are geared towards appreciating local talent in the various industries; be it photographers, designers, musicians, companies and other entities that support Kenyan fashion.

The lady who stole the look of the night was the Jumia MD, Parinaz Firozi. She is definitely one of the sexiest CEO's out there.

Later on that night, she would go on to win the Best Dressed Female CEO award. The event MC was non other than actress Shirleen Wangari. She looked glamorous all through, much to the excitement of the audience all through.

Some of the celebrities present were top Kenyan designer Wambui Kamuyu, rapper Wangechi, Dj Sadiq (was with his sexy girlfriend), rapper Jay A among others.

Entertainment ranged from a light moment from comedians Owago and Obina while they were handing out the Best Dressed CEO award as well as performances from Avril and Jay A.

Among the big winners of the night include Avril who won the Best Dressed Female Artiste of the Year award, Jay A who bagged the Best Dressed Male Artiste of the Year award, Beata Otieno as the Stylist Of The Year, KTN's Jamal Gadafi as the Best Dressed Media Personality of the Year, Mosound as the Supportive Company of the Year and Xtiandela as the Corporate Social Media Personality of the Year.

The event was sponsored by among others Infinix Kenya- who offered an Infinix zero 2 to the person with most tweets during the event, Mo sounds, Knitwear models and Boma hotel.
