Prominent radio personality Maina Kageni has finally revealed that his favourite Kenyan song is 'Queen B ' by Sailors to the dismay of Kenyans.

Maina has in the past been criticized for his love for Tanzanian music with some arguing that he favours Diamond Platnumz and his WCB crew.

His revelation came after his fans asked him to play them Wamlambez which is also by Sailors.

'My favourite song is 'Queen B' by Sailors, It's what I am currently playing in my car.'

Months ago gospel artiste Daddy Owen had hit at Maina for playing Tanzanian music over and over again in his radio show.

“Editor ndio predator, manager ndio damager, producer ndio reducer, promoter ndio demoter, publisher ndio punisher, this is kenya,” wrote Daddy Owen on Instagram.

Maina responded to Daddy Owen saying that his music gets a lot of airplay.

He however told the gospel singer to tell his fellow musicians to give presenters good songs that will push foreign content off the Kenyan playlists.

“I agree!!!!! But tell your contemporaries to give us content that will PUSH foreigners off our playlists…. you are highly rotated… advise them what they need to do to be the next @daddyowen….”
