Last night, as the clock ticked 0000HRS, the Nairobi skyline experienced a total transformation, albeit short-lived.
As revellers thronged bars, as Christians congregated in churches and as night runners did their running in the dead of the night, Nairobi was experiencing probably the best fireworks lighting ever in it's more than a century-rich history!!!
It was a splendid display of colours, as the thunderous explosions lit the city in a way that has never been seen before!
Although the showcase couldn't match what was happening in other parts of the world like Dubai, Sydney, New York, Doha and Paris, it was such an amazing spectacle to watch!!
