Forget Mugabe quotes. There's a new queen in town.

Machakos gubernatorial seat aspirant Wavinya Ndeti is the reigning queen of quotable quotes.

The NASA diehard supporter was on Wednesday cleared to vie for the seat after she had been barred earlier by IEBC.

To celebrate her victory, Wavinya decided to address her supporters but this didn't go well as expected. It seems the beautiful woman from Kambaland has been taking lessons from Raila 'Baba' Odinga (known for vitendawili) and this time round she wanted to imply the same but use proverbs.

Wavinya opted to use the famous proverb "Yaliyopita si ndwele, tugange yajayo" which means that you should let the past remain in the past and focus on the future or rather let the bygones be the bygones, but, Wavinya, instead said

"Yaliyo ndwele sipite"
