Barely a fortnight ago, William Kabogo was the talk of the town after he used his armoured military vehicle to take President Uhuru Kenyatta around Kiambu town.

The said vehicle - an Iveco LMV - reportedly costs anything between Sh 20 million to Sh 30 million and one of its salient features is that its bomb proof.

In what would be mistaken for a show of might, photos of the sleek ride that Uhuru cruises around in since last year have been doings rounds on social media a lot more lately.

Photos of the sleek German machine which was recently added to the President's fleet have been eliciting mixed reactions from netizens.

Although it has not been confirmed, a friend of mine who's really into car insists that its the limousine version of the S600.

Word on the street is that the old S600 which was often used by Uhuru's predecessor Mwai Kibaki had been in service for almost 10 years.

The only other known Kenyan who owns a car that is similar to the President's is SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauri, who drives a S600.

The only difference is that his is a Maybach, this simply means that the car belonging to Karauri could be a little bit more expensive than Uhuru's. Or maybe a lot more!
