Comedian Eric Omondi has said that his 'mistakes' should not be used to punish other artists in the Kenyan industry.

Rather it should be an opportunity to talk about the problems facing the industry.

His sentiments come after he was released on a 50,000 bail alongside his wife material crew.

'The Conversation is on and this conversation is very important for the Creative Industry I am calling upon the Creative Industry to join the conversation and be on Standby to participate.

I have apologized to KFCB and the general Public because I realized that some of the scenes from  were very offensive and unnecessarily obscene.

I talked to Daktari and we agreed that Content doesn't have to be dirty to sell and moving forward I promised to steer clear from that.'

Eric added that the fact that he admitted his mistakes is not a ticket to harass  and punish other people in the industry.

I have owned up to my mistakes and apologised but I dont want my mistakes to be used to Punish an entire Industry.

I will be meeting the KFCB team on Monday morning to start this conversation and I pray for a HANDSHAKE and that's what my BIG BROTHER Dr. Ezekiel Mutua has promised.

And I have also promised to ensure for CLEAN CONTENT ONLY. Infact I am willing to be the Ambassador of Clean Content.

But my prayer is that we don't use this unfortunate setback to stifle or kill creativity amongst artists.
