Gospel singer David Kilonzo popularly known as DK Kwenye Beat has been the victim of fat-shaming on social media.

The Kereka and Asusu hit singer, who has gained weight leaving many making fun of him while calling on him out to cut down, has finally responded to trolls.

"Kenyans, I hear you. I’m willing to share with you my story very soon. 😔😔," he wrote

Adding;

"The tongue has no bone, but it is strong enough to break a heart. 😔. Social media is a hostile path to walk on, especially when you are not PERFECTLY created or have a body like mine. I won’t quit social media as I had intended, I will instead share my story to inspire another."

DK Kwenye Beat recently released a new song titled 'Kijana wa Kayole' in which he tells his story of how far he has come. In the song, DK inspires and uplifts anyone who might be in the same situation as him.

Although the song does not really address his weight issue, it's clear that his followers have liked it and it has garnered quite some views so far.
