Plans to give Churchill comedian Othuol Othuol - real name Ben Maurice Onyango - a decent burial are underway.

The comedian breathed his last on Sunday at the Kenyatta National Hospital where he was receiving treatment for a brain tumour.

Ken Waudo the chairman of Comedians In Kenya Society has revealed that the late Othuol Othuol's funeral expenses will range from Ksh 700,000 to Ksh 1m.

In a press statement he said,

"We are looking at Othuol's funeral budget to range from 700k to 1m."

Waudo added,

"The body of the comedian has been transferred to Chiromo Mortuary.Plans are underway to inter his body at his ancestral home in Ndere, Alego, Siaya County on October 24, 2020."

He continued,

"Comedians, family and friends met at his Kitengela home as well as at a Hotel in Nairobi for planning as well as condole each other for the late Othuol Othuol memories. There will be a fundraiser bwhich will be announced to help offset funeral arrangements costs."
