Two years ago Simon Kabu gifted his wife Sarah a brand new Range Rover worth 30 million for her 39th birthday bringing Nairobi City to a standstill.

According to Simon his wife deserved a range rover and more since she had stood by him, furthermore it was her dream car.

Since then things have never been the same for the couple, speaking about it during an interview on Radio Jambo, Sarah said,

'That car gift was on my 39th birthday

on my 35th birthday I was bought a Mercedes but he did not publicize it.

After picking it from Mombasa he put it in the parking when I woke up I found it there.

So we were working towards getting a range rover for my 40th birthday.

Since then for the past two birthdays I have been very evasive.

If I knew he would gift me a car in public I would have stopped it.

The couple was however not ready for the challenges that came with their show of public display of affection.

'After that we did not know that would be a problem.

Now every slay queen tells him 'Ooh I want a Vitz.'

I heard people were asking kwani nampea design gani ndio aninunulie gari.'

We have logins to each others social media accounts. During the New Year a slay queen wrote,

'Happy new year,  my goal is to go out with you, please make it happen.

Sarah says,

we meet such DM'S everyday.'

Speaking about how it is like working with her husband on a daily basis, Sarah said,

'It's not all lovey dovey as people assume. When we get to the office it's all work.

We are usually very busy.

There are days we are not in talking terms but when we get to the office management decisions have to be made so you have to talk and give your opinions.

We never mix personal issues with business. If you find us getting mad at each other then it's something serious.'

Bonfire Adventures boss Sarah Kabu had in a past social media post confessed that it took a lot of will for her not to fall for sponsors back in the day.

Sarah who is now the boss of Kenya’s leading tour and travel company says,

AT 22 YEARS WHEN I STARTED WORKING AS AN INTERN AND MANAGED TO PAY FOR MY FIRST TRIP TO 14 FALLS THROUGH A CHURCH YOUTH GROUP.

Sarah adds that her values kept her in check

I NEVER COMPROMISED MY VALUES DATING OLD DIRTY SPONSORS LIKE COLLEGE SLAY QUEENS DO NOWADAYS.

THEM DAYS THEY USED TO BE CALLED TUSHUNGWA NA SUGAR DADDY’S.

I USED TO SURVIVE ON ONE MEAL A DAY THAT IS DINNER BIG UGALI OR RICE.

DAY TIME SNACKS WERE MOSTLY SWEETS, BISCUITS, MANDAZI, CHAPATI AND BREAD...
