A woman who was just minutes away from exchanging vows with the love of her life fainted after the groom's father stormed the church and stopped the wedding.

Reports indicate that the man stood outside the church and waited for the time when the couple was about say "I do".

It is then that he made his way into the church and demanded that the wedding between his son Yohana Mohammed and Rose Sembeye be stopped.

Both bride and groom are said to have collapsed and they were rushed to a nearby hospital where first aid was administered on them.

They were discharged at around 5pm and headed to the venue they had booked for their after party.
