Eliud Kipchoge and Gladys Cherono

Kenya is celebrating after our athletes’ tremendous performance at the Berlin Marathon.

Gladys Cherono 35, won the women’s Berlin Marathon in a time of 2:18: 11, while Eliud Kipchoge broke the four-year world record in a time of 2:01:40.

Many have taken to social media to congratulate #TeamKenya for raising the Kenyan flag high in the Berlin Marathon and Raila Odinga, William Ruto, Governor Joho are among them.
