Yesterday, social media was set abuzz after news went viral that a Kenyan man by the name Chris Darling wanted to commit suicide following a family dispute. Chris Darling posted photos of sachets of poison threatening to commit suicide, after disclosing to the public that his wife cheated on him. He even posted a Will mentioning the beneficiaries or rather heirs of his "wealth" amongst them his friends; Paul and Ken.

What is really happening to Kenyans? Over the last two weeks, we have heard  of lovers involved in love triangles that has sadly left two men dead, and Chris Darling might be the third if he carries out his threat (Let us hope he won't do such a stupid thing).

Well, I called his friends, Paul and Ken, and their version of the story is very sad. According to Ken, his friend Chris Darling has been through "hell" for several days (almost a month). Chris allegedly had a misunderstanding with his wife Esther, and when he tried to settle the issue, his wife took off from her marital home leaving him depressed. Ken says that Chris Darling called him yesterday morning, but couldn't pick up as he was busy.  Later on, he learnt from one of his friend's that Chris had taken poison (yesterday midnight) and was hospitalized.

On the other hand, Paul, who is Chris Darling's colleague at a popular Casino, narrated the same saying that he learnt about the sad news through a WhatsApp group. Paul revealed to us that sometime back, Chris Darling went home after a night shift and found that his wife was not in the house (this was after a night shift) and she never come back. The remorseful Chris tried his level best to win back his wife's  heart, but it seems Esther had already made up her mind not to go back to her husband.

"I rushed to Chris Darling's house in Zimmerman and found that he had already taken poison and his neighbor had given him water. He vomited and we took him to hospital St. Teresa's hospital in Zimmerman. In the evening, he was okay after he was attended to by doctors and told me if gets stable, he will go back home," said Paul.

Chris Darling managed to survive the "devil's temptations" and is aid to be doing well right now and is back online.
