Kenyan politics is always characterised by greed, corruption, tribalism and nepotism. Most of our politicians forget about their people once they are elected and who knows, this time round this might change.

With a few weeks remaining before the general election, politicians vying for different seats are busy campaigning and come August 8, we will be able to tell who campaigned well.

Well, politician Peter Nderitu Mwangi, a MCA from Bahati Ward, Nakuru County has won the hearts of many Kenyans after he did the unthinkable.

Mr Mwangi aka Birishiba who is an ex Kenya navy office is a different man, he posses positive acts of kindness.

Despite the many bad stories we've heard about politicians, Mwangi is a courageous, brave, caring and humane. Recently, a young boy drowned in a water body in his County and to prove that he is a capable father figure, he dived into the river to save the boy.

Mwangi swam for several hours searching for the boy unfortunately his fervent attempts to look for the boy were in vain as the boy's body was later found.

Isn't he a hero?
