Sassy singer Vivian Wambui is mourning. The Teren Teren hitmaker, who got engaged to her fiance Sam West early this year, has lost her father-in-law, Mr Weston Gitonga.
She took to social media to share the sad news and her message read:
Dad has gone to be with the lord.
I would have wished to have many more talks to learn and grow from you but I will keep in heart all you’ve left behind. #RIPDrWeston We will surely miss you.
‘I touched you yesterday for the 15th time and couldn’t hold my tears,’ Kenyan man Sam Mkenya mourns wife of 10 years
In another message, she showered Sam with praises and asked her followers to pray for the family during these difficult times.
For a long time I believed life was all about achievements and so I invested all my resources and all my energy and time on creating achievements.
Over time however I discovered I was not completely right. Achievements are great but they are a small part of a good life.
Imagine how happy we all feel when we receive love and support from other people. When someone stretches out a helping hand to lift you up or goes out of their way to visit you.
Let’s be supportive of one another because we all feel great and happy when we receive love and care.
For those who can please keep us in prayer especially for @samwestke and the entire family as they mourn Dad Bishop Weston Gitonga.
Vivian’ fiance is heartbroken after his father’s death and he also shared the sad news saying;
Rest well Papa. I will dearly miss you. You fought a good fight.
Our prayers with the bereaved family.
