It would appear that popular Kenyan singer Akothee has taken shots at Vera Sidika and other socialites indirectly.

The wealthy Mombasa-based singer who is a mother of five recently held an expensive house warming party at her hometown village in Migori attended by popular Kenyan celebrities.

She posted the message below on social media in which she calls out some unnamed socialites who depend on sponsors' money to buy expensive weaves.

Mungu si athumani, wala hakuna cha sponser, akili ni nywele kila mtu ana zake, when your sponser gives you cash you buy weave for 400,000,ksh & I use the same cash to buy land, did maize & beans on a 10 acres of land & it's very successful yawa, labda nikose pesa ya chopper, lakini si kuweka chakula mezani,‪#‎teamhustling‬ ‪#‎teampositivity‬ ,
