In the society we live in, ladies expect their men to surprise them when they are marking special occasions like birthdays and expect to get something when the it's the men's turn to celebrate.

A Kenyan lady has just disabused this notion and gone out of her way to do something very special for her lover on his birthday, earning a lot of praise as a result.
Speaking to Mpasho, Beatrice Wanjiku Thairu said she had initially planned to tell him that she was sick so he could rush home and get surprised his close friends upon arrival.
That plan changed one week to the man's birthday after they both attended the Concours d'Elegance at Ngong Racecourse where she saw a limousine and thought of getting it.
Wanjiku spent the next few days trying to get the fancy ride but it was all in vain, bear in mind that her husband's birthday was just days away.
After jostling and bustling, she finally got a good package and was able to hire a limousine which she would surprise her husband Steve Bolly Chege with.
Wanjiku said she called up his family members and close friends days before his birthday to ensure no one had planned anything for him.
On the D-day, she called up one of his colleagues and together they came up with a solid reason to get him to come to work early so that he wouldn't miss the planned surprise.
At around 3:30 pm, the limousine company called her and told her that they were on their way and they went to his place of work together.
Upon arrival, she asked the built bouncers who had come with the limousine to go in first and pretend like they wanted some documents from him.
As it turns out, Bolly did not have all the 'documents' and he was asked to walk to the car where the boss was. Doesn't this sound like something out of a movie?
Anyway, he did so willingly and upon getting outside he found a limousine parked and was asked to get inside.
When the door was opened, he was completely dumbfounded when he saw his wife, son and close friends who ushered him in saying "SURPRISE".
When asked why she went out of her way and did what she did, Wanjiku said he spoils her too adding that birthdays happen only once in a year and they should be made memorable
