Education is very important.

It helps one distinguish himself/herself from the non-learned. Every child has a right to education and it is always a joy of many when there parents educate them. Educating a child is like educating the whole society. Well, we have many prominent people around, some who were lucky to go through an education system and others were not, but because of the grace of the Lord, they managed to make it.

Citizen TV's Janet Mbugua is among the lucky personalities around who had a chance to go to school. And she did not just go to any other school around but to one of the most prestigious schools in the country which is Brookhouse International School. Located in Langata, a suburb of Nairobi, about 10 km from the Nairobi's CBD, Brookhouse is for the rich kids. Their school fees per term only, can pay your rent in Umoja Estate for 17 months.

The school has produced great people among them Dr. Louise Leakey, paleontologist, educator and lecturer, the Moipei Quartet, Eric Wainaina, Ian Mbugua, top TV anchor Janet Mbugua and the late E-sir. Well, Janet recently visited her old school alongside colleagues Kanze Dena and Mark Masai where they attended Rhino Cup Debating Challenge.
