Shocking CCTV footage of Robert Ouko taking Chris Obure gun he used to shoot Omwenga emerge

Controversial businessman Chris Obure and his bodyguard Robert Ouko Bodo are yet to be charged after the death of Kevin Omwenga.

The 28-year-old was shot dead last month in his bedroom at Galana Suites apartment by Ouko. He was buried in Soko village, Kitutu Chache constituency, Kisii county on August 29.

Well, CCTV footage which captured Obure stealing a gun from his boss's safe in his office at Senteu Plaza not far from Omwenga's apartment has surfaced.

On August 21 the fateful day Omwenga was killed, Ouko was captured on CCTV cameras at 06:26 am at Obure's office opening a safe and taking a gun before leaving.

Fast forward to that night, Ouko is captured on cameras at Omwenga's apartment going in and out of the house for quite a number of times.

At 11:30 pm Ouko left the house and while at the lift, he removed an object (believed to be a gun) from the back of his pocket.

He went back to the house and at 11:32 pm, he left with two men carrying Omwenga, who had been fatally shot.

At 11:35 pm Omwenga was rushed to Nairobi Women's hospital where he was pronounced dead while Ouko and the Tanzanian lady who was in the house remained behind.

At 11:37 pm, Ouko was captured on camera walking to Obure's office and after opening the door, he went straight to the safe and refiled the magazine before leaving for Kilimani Poice station, where he was arrested.

Obure and Ouko will be charged jointly with the murder of Kevin Omwenga on Monday next week.
