Talking about motherhood journey, Amina showered her firstborn child with love in a sweet message which read,

#MyRuby completely changed my life, this girl made me realise that motherhood is my thing. She came into my life when I was 22 years old, looking back I think God's timing is the best, am grateful to have experienced motherhood when I was quite young. It has made me a better person. Kitili and Amina are blessed with two adorable kids; a boy and a girl. The mother of two struggled with postpartum depression after she gave birth to her first child in 2015.

She was diagnosed with hypothyroidism condition and battled with weight. Sharing her experience, she wrote,

THANK GOD THAT I WAS HYPOTHYROID. 4 YEARS DOWN THE LINE, I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CONTROL MY THYROID LEVELS. I AM HAPPIER AND HEALTHIER. DEPRESSION AND SEVERE WEIGHT GAIN WERE MY BIGGEST CONCERN. I WAS FROM 95KGS  FROM 69KGS. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY EPISODES OF DEPRESSION. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HYPOTHYROIDISM BACK IN 2015 IMMEDIATELY AFTER I HAD MY DAUGHTER. I WAS EXPERIENCING ALMOST ALL SYMPTOMS OF HYPOTHYROIDISM,’
