Jacque Maribe has finally responded to rumours that she's dating Itumbi.

Itumbi, the Statehouse Digital and Diaspora Communication Officer in the Office of the President,

has been sharing poems and powerful messages to encourage his best friend Jacque who was in remand for the better part of September this year, and many speculated that they were more than friends.

A section of his followers trolled him severely on social media, claiming that they were a perfect match made in heaven and should settle down together.

In an interview with the Standard, Dennis Itumbi came out clean on his relationship Maribe. He said;

I work for State House, I do not stand with Jacque because I have a lofty title acquired over time, but because we share something more meaningful and important than a job title – friendship.

Itumbi and Maribe have been great friends for the longest time and he described her as a good friend.

By the way, last weekend, I told her, as her very supportive father and mother listened, 'people are saying I am trying to win you back..'

Maribe responded;

Tell them, we share a soul. Something deeper than love, a friendship that words can only spell but not explain.
