Football is a game, Hooliganism is a shame; this has always been the Kenyan football fans slogan since time immemorial, but it has never been put in place. Over the weekend, a section of Gor Mahia fans disrupted the burial of the late Boniface Aggrey Okello aka Bokelo of the popular TV showInspecktaMwala.

The rowdy fans stormed Bokelo's funeral service that was underway and seized the coffin and marched with it around the school compound where the ceremony was held chanting and singing Luo songs in praise of the fallen hero who was also a Gor Mahia die hard fan. The rowdy group caused mayhem as mourners ran for their lives including his family and leaders who were in attendance among them Anyang' Nyong'o run for their dear lives.

After long pleas, the Gor Mahia fans then allowed the family to bury Bokelo at 3 pm in his home then proceeded to Kisumu to watch their game where Gor Mahia beat Sony Sugar 2-1 to lift the Cup.

This behaviour has been condemned by the Kenyan football fraternity and lets us hope, the people in charge of such teams will try to bring sanity to their clubs. Below is the link to the video, click to watch it
