Kenyans have been sending radio star, Maina Kageni their warm messages of "get well soon" ever since he went into surgery last week. Several people have also made an effort to visit him in hospital.

Joining the fray is Kiss FM's breakfast presenter, Shaffie Weru, today morning he went to visit Maina. Shaffie posted a photo of the visit on his social media pages to reassure Maina's fans that the Classic 105 breakfast show presenter is recuperating well.

From the look of things Maina is doing quite well. pretty soon he will be back on his feet and back on air.

Shaffie wrote,
