A popular actress has left tongues wagging after saying that she is only turned on by ugly men and that she would never give "pretty boys" a minute of her time.

The Tanzanian actress who goes by the name Irene Uwoya made this revelation ahead of a special event that  has organized for lovers slated for Valentine's Day.

While apologizing for her remarks, the thespian said one of the things her fans do not know about her is that she does not find handsome men appealing.

"One thing that you do not know about me is that handsome men have never appealed to me. I don't know why. But trust you me, ugly men will win my heart  any time of day or night," Uwoya said.
