The gospel industry has in 2019 been shook to the core with it’s members being involved in sex scandals left right and center.
We are told ‘Tenda Wema Nenda Zako’ but these stars seem to be taking this advise literally and it’s heartbreaking.
From infecting women with herpes to STI’s here are gospel celebs who have left us spitting in disgust.
- DK Kwenye Beat
DK also known as Stamina Daddy almost ruined his career after he was accused of infecting a Nakuru woman of infecting her with Herpes.
He was accused alongside fellow gospel artiste Hope Kid.
He then went ahead and deleted his social media accounts but he has since made a come back.
2. Hope Kid
He and fellow singer DK Kwenye Beat were accused of infecting a college student with an STI after a threesome.
The ‘Holiday’ hitmaker came out to say that all that was not true.
Speaking to Word Is, the singer said,
“We signed an NDA so I’m limited on what to say about this issue, but there was never a rape case and nobody was infected with herpes.
Yes, I went and got tested, not because I had it but at the end of the day I was under legal advice and I wanted to have every documentation right, so that when anyone comes knocking, I have my papers ready.
I knew if I posted her, she is suicidal, and the unexpected would have happened and it would all be on me. I didn’t want that on my conscience. That’s why I kept quiet,” he said.
Adding, “She is a good friend of mine. I actually talk to her. She knew what she was doing.
3. Mr Seed
Popular gospel artist Weezdom in August 2019 sensationally claimed that fellow artist Mr Seed was involved in sex affair with one of his fans.
Weezdom, who took to Instagram to leak phone conversations between him and the lady, however, distanced himself from the scandal.
According to the youthful musician, he was forced to leak the phone conversations to save his brand as a gospel artist.
“Today I’m a sad guy, but I chose to relax because the anger of a man does not produce the righteousness of God (James 1:20).
So leo nimekua napigiwa simu na bloggers ati Mr Seed na wife yake wanasema nalipwa niwaharibie jina (I was called today by bloggers saying that Mr Seed and his wife are claiming I was paid to tarnish their name) and that’s why I CHOSE TO COME OUT WITH THE TRUTH,”
Going by the phone conversations, the young lady had gone to Mr Seed’s place where she also found Weezdom.
It is alleged that Mr Seed then took her to the bedroom when they had a good time together.
The unidentified lady allegedly called Weezdom to complain that the story of the affair was spreading among her friends; something that she did not like.
Responding to this, the gospel star said he is a married man and therefore cannot invite women to his house.
“Of late, people have been making false claims about me, those are my haters. These people trying to fight my brand,” Mr. Seed said.
Months after exposing fellow gospel artiste Mr Seed gospel artiste Weezdom was exposed by a video vixen for infecting her with an STI.
Quinter765 in an interview with Mpasho said
‘I HAD RAW S@X WITH HIM BECAUSE I TRUSTED HIM AND WE WERE DATING. AFTER OUR ESCAPADES IS WHEN I STARTED EXPERIENCING PAIN AND BLOOD SPOTS.
I HAD TO GO FOR TWO INJECTIONS PER DAY AND I WAS IN REAL PAIN.’
Weezdom came out to defend himself stating that he had not had raw sex in months hence he could not be responsible for the infection.
‘IF I HAD AN STI I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ALREADY..THE LAST TIME I HAD SEX WAS SIX MONTHS AGO….NAOGOPA KIFO [I FEAR DEATH],’ WEEZDOM SAID.
Weezdom then threw a jab at blogs for exposing him writing
5. Eko Dydda
‘Vidole’ hitmaker Eko Dydda was in May 2019 exposed by his wife of many years for allegedly sleeping with his wife’s best friend.
Cynthia Ayugi accused her husband of cheating on her with a friend, stating that she is not going to remain silent anymore.
“Breaking someone’s marriage is not Godly. I invited you as a friend, today unasema ambia Eko not to bring me home because love yenu haita grow.
It’s not a battle @EkoDydda you don’t have to hide it anymore your ‘Dope’ is free to love you, sometimes it’s healthy to walk away.
Na leo ndio ile siku I will not hide it for fame, money. I will stand with the truth and will never lie to people,” she wrote.
When contacted, Eko Dydda said he wasn’t going to talk about the issue.
