Revellers at Tamasha in Nairobi were treated to a rare spectacle when one of the country's most sought after deejays was arrested before being bundled into a van.

According to reports, Joe Mfalme was behind the decks entertaining partygoers when police officers invaded the party.

The  men in blue whisked him out of the entertainment joint and ordered him to get into a van that had been parked outside.

However, the award-winning winning turntablist was released shortly afterwards thanks to the intervention of the club's management. He went back to entertain revellers thereafter.

Apparently, the reason DJ Joe even got into trouble with the law enforcers was because the music was very loud, or what educated people call refer to as noise pollution.
