There are so many children suffering from cerebral palsy (CP) and various organisations are working round the clock to help these innocent souls to atleast achieve their dreams through charity events, marathons etc.

Cerebral palsy is a group of permanent movement disorders that appear in early childhood. Signs and symptoms vary among people. Often, symptoms include poor coordination, stiff muscles, weak muscles,  seizures, tremors and problems with thinking or reasoning. There may be problems with sensation, vision, hearing, swallowing, and speaking. Often babies with cerebral palsy do not roll over, sit, crawl, or walk as early as other children of their age.

Physically challenged children are not different from the normal beings and should be treated the same.

Although some parents are afraid to introduce their children who suffer from cerebral palsy, there are a few who are proud of these kids and a Kenyan man by the name Stephen Wanga is one of them. Mr Wanga who is based in Qatar, recently left many Kenyans mesmerised and praising him for being a caring father to his 10-year-old daughter Aisha who is suffering from a cerebral palsy. He urged his fellow parents with children who have the same condition as his daughter to show them, love.

"To my fellow parents with special kids mazee Mungu yuko na reason for giving us these kids, so please tusiwatenge wala kuwaficha...kuna watu wanatamani kama huyo lakini Mungu hajampatia so lets us be proud of our children.....Am proud to be a special parent.

#ProudDad #Ayshababie," read Wanga's post that has gone viral.
